Harold Z Kirby

Harold Z. Kirby, 59, 3021 S. Monroe St., died Sunday in Ball Memorial Hospital.
 
An Army veteran, Mr. Kirby had been a maintenance worker and was retired from Muncie Public Library. He attended 16th Street Church of God and was a member of Eagles Lodge 231, where he bowled with the lodge league. He was Democrat precinct committeeman in precinct 9.
 
Survivors include he wife of 28 years, Dorothy; a daughter and son-in-law, Tabitha and James Lacey, Muncie; a grandson, Christopher James Lacey; his mother, Wahnetta Dixon, Muncie; his father and step-mother, Henry and Evelyn Kirby, Muncie; 13 brothers and their wives, Gordon and Darlene Kirby, Samuel and Lisa Kirby, Daniel and Rebecca Kirby, Larry and Netia Kirby, and Larry Dixon, all of Muncie, Jim Dixon, Yorktown, Michael and Kay Kirby, Shepardsville, Ky., Donald and June Kirby, Indianapolis, Clarence and Judy McCormick, Arcanum, Ohio, Randall Jett, Princeton, La., Rick Dixon, Dallas, Tex., Fred and Cheryl Dixon, Iowa City, Iowa, and Ed and Joyce Dixon, Lake Havasu, Ariz.; nine sisters and their husbands, Judy Bryan, Sally Jett and Kelly Kirby, all of Muncie, Alfretta and Richard Ellis, Yorktown, Kathy and Kent Hahn, Winchester, Sue and Edward Jones, Bettendorf, Iowa, Donna and James Healy, Elgin, Okla., Judy Amdor, Cheyenne, Wyo., and Phyllis Landers, Las Vegas, Nev.
 
He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Bryant, and two sisters, Sharon Jett and Marilyn Kirby.
