Sandra Sue McCormick
Sandra Sue McCormick, 69, died at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2009 at her residence.
She was born on May 28, 1940 in Muncie to the late Clyde Minnick and the late Martha (Frazier) Morrical.
She married John Zerebell McCormick on March 26, 1958 in Florence, Az.. She was a homemaker.
Sandra will be sadly missed by her husband, John McCormick of Hartford City; son, John (wife, Teresa) McCormick of Marble City, Ok.; daughters, Michelle (husband, Jay) Rouse of Seven Springs, N.C., Lisa McCormick of Hartford City, Sandra "Cookie" (husband, Robert) McDaniel of Hartford City; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Thompson of Marion; Blaine Thompson of Hartford City; sisters, Marilyn Hood of Hartford City; Judy Rhodes of Pink Hill, N.C.; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Thomas McCormick; brother, Bill Thompson and sister, Charis Tracy.
Local visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City, Ind.
Funeral service and burial will be in North Carolina.
