Joseph Jaskot

Joseph J. Jaskot Jr., 75, of Methuen, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 3, 2019, with his family at his side.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Joseph and Doris (Welch) Jaskot. Raised and educated in Methuen, Joseph owned and operated several auto body and repair shops in the local area. He also worked for the Lawrence school system. He was an avid fan of all New England sports teams, a big fan of Elvis Presley, and loved fishing, camping, and watching his sports. He especially enjoyed when family was all together.

Joseph is survived by his beloved wife, Marie E. (Camasso) Jaskot; children, Joseph Jaskot III and his companion Teresa Madore of Methuen, David Jaskot and his wife Mary of Derry, N.H., Lisa Brown and her husband David of Methuen, and James Jaskot of Methuen. He also leaves six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Derry, N.H.
