He was born on January 29, 1964 in Norton, VA, to Acy A. Puckett and the late Barbara J. Rose Puckett.
Kenneth is a 1982 Muncie Central High School graduate. On June 6, 1988 he married the love of his life, Roxie V. Smith in Muncie.
Kenneth was a devoted husband, father, and Christian. He greatly loved people.
He worked as Clinic Coordinator of the Counseling Practicum Clinic at Ball State University for 2 years; for Ball Memorial Hospital, Medical Consultants & Pathologists Associates for 15+ years; and at Hillcroft for 3 years.
He loved music and played for The Worship Team at Calvary Christian Center. Additionally, he volunteered his time to radio, TV, and the Ball State Athletic staff.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Roxie Puckett; their children: Emily Puckett and Garrison Puckett; father Acy Puckett (wife, Sherry) of Magnolia, KY; brother Kevin Puckett (wife, Christy) of Muncie; sister Kristi Grace (husband, David) of Muncie; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother Barbara and mother-in-law Ruth Smith.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 28, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie, as well as on Monday, March 29, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral service is on Monday, March 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tyrus Thompson officiating. Private burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Counseling Practicum Clinic at Ball State University by calling 765-285-8047 which supports scholarship funds for his children.
