Henry Gordon Kirby
He was born on April 9, 1935 in Muncie the son of Henry S. and Wahnetta (York)
Kirby and attended Muncie Central High School.
Mr. Kirby was employed with General Motors for several years until his retirement from New Venture Gear.
Gordon was a long standing member of Eagles Lodge F.O.E. #231. He was also a member of the Muncie Bowling Hall of Fame.
His enjoyment was bowling, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-five years, Darlene I. Kirby; two daughters, Tami L. Murphy (husband, DeWayne) and Nancy Kirby, all of Muncie; two grandsons, DeWayne Burton, Muncie
and Blake Burton (fiancée, Mindy Burke), Cowan; five great-granddaughters, Briana, Bethany, Braelyn, and Mahala, all of Muncie, and Lily, Cowan; twelve brothers; eight sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Kirby; his mother, Wahnetta Dixon; a son, Douglas Gordon Kirby; and two brothers.
