John Zerebell McCormick
John Zerebell McCormick, 71, died on Monday, April 30, 2012 in Hartford City.
He was born on April 22, 1941 in Muncie to the late Glen McCormick and the late Lillian (Tweety) McCormick.
John served in the United States Air Force.
On March 26, 1958 he married Sandra Sue (Minnick) McCormick in Florence, Arizona. She precedes him in death on September 18, 2009.
He was an ASE Certified Auto Technician in North Carolina and retired in 2001. John enjoyed Nascar Racing, he loved to work on cars, be outside, listen to music and being around people.
He will be sadly missed by his son, John (wife, Tereasa) McCormick of Marble City, OK; daughters, Michele (husband, Jay) Rouse of Seven Springs, NC, Lisa McCormick of Hartford City, Sandra "Cookie" (husband, Robert) McDaniel of Hartford City; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; brothers, Tom McCormick, George McCormick, David McCormick, Boe McCormick, Lou McCormick, and Tim McCormick.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; son, Thomas McCormick; brothers, Bob McCormick, Jerry McCormick, Tony McCormick, Donald McCormick, Junior "Snake" McCormick and sister, Sondra "Sug" Lousey.
John will be cremated and his cremains will be interred in Pine Lawn Cemetery, Kinston, North Carolina at a later date.
