Janis Lynn (Clevenger) Scott
November 19, 1951 - November 26, 2018
Janis Lyne (Clevenger) Scott (67), born November 19, 1951 to Max B. and Evelyn (Baker) Clevenger passed away after a battle with cancer on November 26, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
Janis was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was married to the love of her life, Joe Scott, for 48 years.
She was the proud mother of Jennifer (Scott) Smith (Richard) of Muncie, IN, Joyce (Scott) King of Muncie, IN, and Jeffrey Scott (Tiffany) of Hartford City, IN.
Her pride and joy were her grandchildren: Jordan Scott, Evan Smith, Adian Smith, Hunter King, Lynsie King, Andrew Osborn, Nicholas Osborn, and Chyanne Osborn.
Janis was a graduate of Wes-Del High School.
She attended and was a member of Redkey Faith Ministries, where she volunteered her time to Kids Hope USA, fundraisers, missions, and other activities. She was dedicated to 4-H.
She helped organize and run the Delaware County Open Dairy show, and volunteered for the Open Swine Show, the Delaware County Farm Festival, and the Indiana State Fair where she helped make cracklins in the Pioneer Village.
