Rochelle Lee (Addington) Gibson, 51, of Franklin, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Rochelle was born on September 9, 1970 in Winchester, Indiana to Michael and Marilyn (Jarvis) Addington.
Rochelle married the love of her life, Bennie K. “Ben” Gibson, on February 11, 1989 in Indianapolis; they were married for thirty-two wonderful years.
Rochelle had a strong, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and was a member of Heartland Church of Christ in Greenwood. She was an advocate for children with special needs and had a deep compassion for others. She dedicated her life to serving and helping anyone she could. Rochelle was a loving wife, a caring mother, a wonderful grandmother, and the best daughter. She took care of her parents when they needed her and was always there for her children. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She was loved by everyone and will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile that would light up a room.
Rochelle is survived by her husband, Ben Gibson of Franklin; her three children, Nikole (Rowdy) Rush of Greenwood, IN, Bradley Gibson of Franklin, and Shelby Gibson of Indianapolis; her two grandchildren, Kinslee and Rylee Rush of Greenwood; her parents, Michael and Marilyn Addington of Greenwood; her brother, Eric Addington of Indianapolis; her three nephews, Travis, Wesley, and Eli Addington, all of Indianapolis; her father-in-law, Bennie Gibson Jr. of Glendale, AR.
Rochelle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Floyd and Ethel Addington and Haskell and Delsie Jarvis, and her mother-in-law, Brenda Gibson.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Turning Point Church in Franklin. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 16th at 1:00pm at the church with visitation from 12:00pm until the funeral hour. Rochelle will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood.
